The horse is dead. Long live the horse.

Pleasantly enough, something called The Independent, over in da UK, linked me, Michael Cossarwal, as a one of a breed of prime examples of vidblogging. It makes me want to start vidblogging again. Perhaps I will. How fun!

The Identity of E.P. Sanders Unveiled!

I would just like to point out (because I have not noticed anyone else pointing this out) that E.P. Sanders, one of the big-time mucky-mucks in the New Perspective fandango, is actually Winnie the Pooh. I am surprised that this does not seem to be a more widely known piece of information (as it might inform one's opinion of his work - and of course, works based upon his work). My evidence, you ask? Simple, really.

  1. Our little Pooh-Bear goes, occasionally by the name, Edward Bear and P. Bear.
    1. "Bear" seems to be, here, more a descriptor of species than anything.
    2. So, it does not seem presumptuous to guess that Pooh's first name and middle initial are "Edward P."
    3. And it remains, from this evidence on its own, unknown as to the bear's last name.
  2. The name upon Pooh's house is Sanders.
    1. Generally, when a name appears on the front of one's house, it is one's own (and likely last) name.
    2. So, it is quite likely that Pooh's last name is "Sanders."
  3. Therefore, Winnie the Pooh is an alias for Edward P. Sanders - who obviously publishes under the name, E.P. Sanders.
  4. Et voila!
